something fishy going on
Sunday, September 19

i have reason to believe i have some strange gap of unfeelingness between one of my molars and my gum... hehe, i don't know whether to think it's cool, strange, or just plain unhygienic :P

ANYWAY! for the past 2 weeks, after eating fish for one of the meals during the week, i'd suddenly find a non-rottable piece of fish hiding in the same little recess of my mouth! haha! crazy nonsense XD

so, the first time it happened, i'd just finished dinner and happened to unconciously roll my tongue across my jaws and molars, and i felt some weird thingy on the side of my molar, and was like, what silly remains of my dinner is that? so i tried using my fingers to grab it out, but with no fingernails then to speak of, i couldn't get a nice group on it with the length i had available.

so i went to the bathroom, took a pair of tweezers and clasped the white translucent thing, and pulled it out triumphantly. and lo and behold, clasped between the arms of the tweezers was of all things, A FISH BONE! goodness! heh and i hadn't even eaten fish that night, so i had to recall and realise that i'd last eaten fish 4 days ago... hmmmmm :P

then then, a week later again, this time there was a little flakey thingy in the same spot! so i was like oh goodness, what food stuff made its way there again this time? so i managed to get it out with my fingers this time, and it was a stupid little fish scale! which had very obviously come from the fish head in the fish soup i had had 3 days before, cos i remember spitting it the head out cos it was too scaley...

so strange these happenings! and the thing is, i don't even feel them when they're in there for so long! even the fish bone which went rather far in, i didn't feel a thing! i thought it would be poking the nerves of my molar... but apparently not... and it wasn't piercing through my gums either, cos that'd have caused some bleeding... so... ahhh! it's weird hehe, i don't know :P i just hope no morsels of meat found its way there and is slowly rotting in there right now... i don't want my adult teeth to be gone just like that you know!

rawr!
